As i keep reading Catcher, it gets better and better. I realized that all J.D. Salinger does is talk. He tells a story but not really. It's all about how he feel towards people and just everything that is running through his mind. I also love the fact that J.D. describes himself as someone who lies; everything he says can be a lie or it can be totally true. That's the thing I love about this book; you never know when he's telling the truth and it makes you wonder... how can someone go through life lying to themselves and people around them? The reason i think J.D. is always lying is because he is afraid to get too close to someone. And i think the reason he is scared to get close to someone is because he is scared of loosing them. I think J.D. a.k.a Holden is going to get lost in all the lies he is accumulating.

I love J.D. Salinger and his character interest me so much. The way he doesn't give a damn but does at them same time is exhilarating. You never know what he's thinking and what he's going to do next. J.D. lives his life and he doesn't let anyone or anything in the way.
